What this site is

bookscourt.com previews an iOS app that has not been released. Nothing here is an offer to sell anything, nothing can be bought, and the features, pricing and timing described are what is intended rather than what is promised. All of it can still change.

The waitlist

Joining puts your address in line for the beta invitation and the launch announcement. It does not reserve a seat: the beta is limited and invitations go out in batches. You can leave at any time using the link at the foot of any email, and leaving costs you nothing.

Early access benefits

Everyone who joins before launch counts as an early reader. The beta invitation reaches the list before anywhere else, early readers are asked first about what gets built next, and there will be a founding-reader thank-you inside the app at launch.

What that thank-you consists of is still being decided. It has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to anyone else, and may change before release.

The demos

The shelf and the spine builder on this page run entirely in your browser. They save nothing, send nothing, and exist to show the idea — the app will differ from both.

What belongs to whom

The Books Court name, the writing, the artwork and the code of this site belong to Books Court. Read it, link to it, quote a line of it. Do not republish it as your own.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. There is no promise that it will be available without interruption or free of mistakes, and so far as the law allows, Books Court is not liable for loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
